PURE 100% Done

First, I have to thank fellow blogger Katie for the wonderful strips of hand dyed fabric that I won. They arrived this week and I am planning to make a purse with them.  Thanks!

The PURE quilt is finished. Hooray! I am a bit sad though because it was such a joy to make this from top of the line fabrics.  The two charm packs went a long way to making this throw.

The borders are from the same Moda line. The neutral solids are Bella Solids. I free motion quilted it in all over concentric circles. The back is pieced with the leftover charm squares and yardage. Binding is also PURE yardage.

Last week, I went to a new (to me) quilt shop. I have been getting their e-newsletters.  When they announced a moving sale, I couldn't resist. Off I went and loaded up on yardage for charity quilts, all under $5 a yard. Score!
The Spring blocks are done. Next they will be up on the design wall, or maybe on the bed.  This is going to be a Queen size. Yikes!
This is link up time with WIP on Wednesday at Esther's Blog. Head over there to see what others are working on.

Your blocks are looking great!

Be warned though - any kind of fabric sale is dangerous. Almost as dangerous as my leaning tower of fabric mountain.
