Row 3 QAYGFMQQAL

Blogger is not cooperating with me, or I with it, whichever. Comments have been disabled somehow. I thank the 5 people who clicked on "cool" as their reaction to my last post. We shall see what this post brings. Have any of you been having problems?

This is link up time with Quokka Quilts for the Quilt as You Go Free Motion Quilting Quilt a Long (QAYGFMQQAL). we have done Row 3 which was fun and interesting. Here are my specimens as my retired scientist hubby would call them:

I made a mistake on the first line by not connecting the second line to it. Live and learn. It is all a bit wonky but I like the design. I am playing with a landscape quilt now that I might use this on.

Spiral - the dark lines are where I drew the design to follow when I stitched. It helped me to focus as I tend to wander into infinity and beyond.
Creeping Vine is easier than it looks. I like it a lot. It doesn't show well on this green, so here is the back:

Sea Oats was not as fun. It looks either like seaweed as Laura thought, or like grapes. If I wanted to do grapes I could use this and move the parts around more into a cluster. Again, the design doesn't show well on the orange but this is Laura's color of the week since she is going into Autumn down under.

This was a good row and I am looking forward to the next row - rows? I forgot how many we are doing.
I especially like the size of these blocks for practice.  The linky party for the others in this group is here. It is not too late to join us.

3 Comments are always welcome:

Nice looking blocks - so nice that you added words to describe what you were doing/thinking. What do you use to mark your quilts?
