Doll Quilt Dilemma

As you can see by the button on the sidebar, I am in the Doll Quilters Monthly Swap.  This month I got a wonderful swap partner who had already made her quilt!  A few months back she had to have surgery so she made up quilts before so she could continue to participate while she was recovering.  Isn't that fantastic!  Most of us would just drop out.  Anyway, I received this beauty from her
I love it to bits and I got it less than two weeks into the month! So now I must send to her, of course.  Because she said she likes bright batiks, I made a quilt with just those fabrics.  I used a new book I gave myself for the New Year. The Square Deal pattern was perfect for these fabrics.  I enjoyed making it even though I had to use templates.  I also had to recall my stitchery days and make untold dozens of french knots around the sides. Nevertheless, I am so pleased with the results.

Now my dilemma is saying goodbye to this project.  I love it so much!  Has that ever happened to you?  I cannot remember when I have liked loved a project more.  It is 18" X 23."

Even the back is wonderful.  The only quilting was using 12 wt cotton in orange with a walking foot and a long and wide zig zag stitch. I love the dense fabric.
The quilt has been hanging on my design board for a few days n
row.  I have the envelope for it ready. Sigh!
