Today is the linky party over at Cat Patches.

The most important finish for February is the baby quilt for a family member. This baby is going to need it as she will be living in one of the coldest parts of our country. As I write this, they are having more snow. The prediction for an early spring doesn't seem to be happening. Maybe that will change.
This quilt I have shown in snippets in earlier posts. The fabric is aviary2 by Joel Dewberry for Free Spirit. I had my doubts about this collection for a baby quilt. Now I really like it.

From the same fabrics, I made a fabric postcard to send along.

Another quilt of size is a scrap quilt made using "magic" blocks described in McCall's Quilting.

It is a lot of sewing but it was fun to do. This will be backed with fleece and donated to the hospital.
The smaller projects consisted of blocks and mug rugs for swaps,

another fabric postcard made with fleece, and a Wonky House block.
I did start on the Guild challenge that is due at the end of March. I will be making a table runner with Log Cabin and Sawtooth Star blocks So far I have traced the pattern onto the fusible web and onto the backs of the fabrics. The grid on the fabric is drawn. This method is very different so it is a real challenge. I will probably write a separate blog later about it.
I got hooked into buying some new fabric at the LQS. It was a real bargain that I couldn't resist. It is all precuts so that helped speed the piecing of the quilt top. I made up the pattern as I went which was a challenge to my lacking math skills.

It has been a productive and fun month.
Hope yours was the same.
Happy Quilting!

Mine, not so much (((sigh))).
These are all just adorable Judee. I love your choices of fabrics. I'd like to try a fabric postcard some time, but haven't yet. Thanks for linking up today.
I guess February was a busy month.....lot of nice items there. I really like the edging stitch you used on the postcard.....:)
You accomplished a lot in a short month! :-)
Good job.
Love the pre-cuts you got - they are awesome colors!
Will be talking with you later tonight.
