This week I finished and mailed off a doll quilt for my Doll Quilters Monthly swap partner. I used a kit that I bought last fall on our way home from the mountains. I bought nearly every kit in the shop. They are all for small quilts and include everything but the thread and batting. We also were going through the town on the only day the shop is open - Saturday. Like many shop owners, she works elsewhere to support the shop.
The fused applique' cupcakes have stitching only on the "cherries."
The block borders are echo quilted with more echo quilting on the outer border. I love the fabrics in this kit. It is 19 inches square.
The shop is Quilting in the Sierras in Bishop, California..
Isn't it just the epitome of a classic quilt shop? the owner is so nice too. I will be going back this year.
Today is link up day with the following blogs:

Thank Goodness its Finished Friday (TGIFF) and
